You are so correct in your assessment: "... none of that sentiment headed back in their direction, and ... they (the liberals) are contributing to the extinction of the values system that gave them their standard of living."
But the saddest part is - the extinction will take place before they realize it and then it might be too late to fix it.
In the Bible is a phrase something to the effect, "Be ye not unequally yoked together." IMO, that is important advise. What we see today is a Christian nation being forced to accomodate the norms of a hostile religion.
Here we are in America experiencing the same problem that the children of Israel did thousands of years ago. We are comingling with the Philistines and expecting a different outcome. Big mistake IMO...
Our God WILL NOT be pleased by this. As He withdrew his hand from Israel for periods of time, so goes the nation.
We are sewing so many seeds of our own destruction these days, it's really becoming hard for me to see this nation continuing on as it has in the past.
I'll probably catch flack for this, but this is the way I see it.
