A National Guardsman refused entry. "It doesn't need to be seen, it's a gearshift morgue in there," he told a Reuters photographer. "We're not letting anyone in there anymore. If you want to take pictures of dead bodies, go to Iraq."

This paragraph seems awfully out of character for our servicemen. And why would a National Guardsman say go to Iraq? Does the Guardsman think first of dead bodies when he thinks of Iraq? While it is possible he took that shot at the Iraq war, I know the character of the military and their knee jerk reaction to Iraq is not death. It is the freeing of millions of people from tyranny. They are proud to serve their country. Am I just being to analytical?

Probably because he's seen a lot of dead bodies there and that's what comes to mind for him when one talks about dead bodies.

"Am I just being to analytical?"

The Guardsman was likely just wanting to deny a sensationalist journalist his fix.

Saddam's mass graves. And continued reports of INNOCENT Iraqi's being murdered by thugs and terrorists. IMHO, that's what the man was referring to.

It was an appropriately bitter and sarcastic comment aimed at the MSM which wants to show dead bodies to undermine American resolve and unity.
