That's a damn good question, and come to think about it, not once during this whole disaster have I seen any officials from the NO Police Department on the airwaves trying to take control of the situation at the criminal justice level. Where is the chief? Is he in hiding are out looting with the rest of his department?

Only today have I actually hear the words Louisiana State Police. Where have the county/parish mounties and State Police been, I wonder?
