I am looking for a charity that is working in Miss. or Alabama only. I don't want my money going to those gouls in NOLA.

if you did give to the Red Cross you must specify it is to go to Hurricane Katrina relief. Otherwise they could use that money in other areas as they did for 9-11. I am donating to them through my company. The company is matching dollar for dollar.

so thanks for supporting the Salvation Army.

Wow. First I saw it. That was really weird. Anyone else think he looked 'not quite right'? He had that look like when a hostage is forced to read a statement. Maybe he is always like that.

Think some one prompted him to say that before going on air?

Mike Myers seems to do two double takes. I think he was wishing he wasn't in that scene.

here all, read this at this web address. It explains everything!

It's people like this that keep race tensions high by ignoring the truth and going into rants that benefit no one!

No, he was uneasy because he didn't have a teleprompter telling him what to say. He flubbed those goofy thoughts on his own. His circle of losers may have goaded him, but I think he he just drank too much Kool-Aid.

I agree.

The NFL should have dropped the stones after that bonehead song.

The stones are meaningless to me. an ancient druggie group who are for the depends crowd.

from the link: Comedian Mike Myers was paired with West for a 90-second segment that began with Myers speaking of Katrina’s devastation. Then, to Myers’ evident surprise, West began a rant by saying, “I hate the way they portray us in the media. If you see a black family, it says they’re looting. See a white family, it says they’re looking for food.”

While allowing that “the Red Cross is doing everything they can,” West — who delivered an emotional outburst at the American Music Awards after he was snubbed for an award — declared that government authorities are intentionally dragging their feet on aid to the Gulf Coast. Without getting specific, he added, “They’ve given them permission to go down and shoot us.”

After he stated, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people. Please call —” the camera cut away to comedian Chris Tucker.

Mr West was in the news just a few days ago, on Saturday night:

"Rap mogul Shug Knight has been shot at a party hosted by Kanye West. he was apparently shot in the leg by an unknown assailant...

By Saturday night, everyone knew the storm was going to hit the coast. Perhaps he could have gotten his rappin' millionaire pals down to NOLA before the storm and offer help? Nooooo, they'd rather partay and beitch.

I am too busy working and taking care of my family and community to know this guy-who is he and how can we get him fired and never have a word to say with any kind of media exposure ever ? Mike Meyers and Chris tucker look like they are supremely uncomfortable. Good. This guy is spewing the worst kind of inflammatory , ignorant drivel I have ever seen? Its unbelievable the type of hate this guy is spewing. Enough is enough. Lets make sure this kind of hate filled speech is never again put onto our screens without the person saying it understanding the repurcussions of their careless words...
