Think dad's throat is clearing up a friend of mum's visited her today she is OK but trying to get the strapping off.
Hi snugs .. my mom went to a nursing home on Wednesday and she's so happy there.
I don't mean to laugh, but they have these little walkers for the elderly patients. It's like the kind you use for your toddler .. they can stand up and walk around, and then when they get tired, they can sit down. Once my mom found out she could get up and walk around and she didn't have to worry about falling down .. she was gone! It's like she's found this new freedom. I get to visit tomorrow for a couple of hours and then I have to wait another couple of days. This is just the policy of the nursing home for new patients. If she doesn't get upset by the visit, then I will be allowed to visit anytime I want; whatever hours are convenient for me.
I'm hoping the extra exercise will help her to sleep better at night.
