"I wonder if rescuers are using/can use police and army helicopters using infra-red radar, the type that are used to pick out the heat from human beings? Our police helicopters use them to pick up the image of thieves hiding in bushes etc. I wonder if this can show if people are alive in attics?? Does anybody know if this would work through metal roofs?"
Heard a bit on CNN about the CIA (?) spy Sats. And yes they can pick up heat signatures.
But the person (a lady) didn't want to give too much info on it.
Excellent. Hope whatever technology they use (spy or not-spy) will get them quicker to those trapped in attics.
It would take a while to reposition a KH-11/12 to hover over the US from where they currently are orbiting. And then we get into legal questions about the CIA operating in America, etc., etc.
Those restrictions were put in place by, surprise, the Dems.
