LOL! For those who missed it...cajungirl and I had an off thread discussion about donating our clothes. We seem to have way too many things, and plenty from Talbot's...I found some with the tags still on them.

I have 3 kids that I can't do hand me downs to (8 year twin girls, and 10 year old boy). I have most of their last year's clothes waiting to donate, and I would love to give it to hurricane relief. I just don't know if they need clothes. I also have a ton of toys I could donate. My kids have way too much stuff.

Sell them and use the money to buy some survival gear. If you want to, help the really needy with some of it. The nice donated clothes often get taken home by the people who distribute them.
So much money has been poured into this now, some from me, that it's time to sit back and see what they do with it and save some for another crisis that people won't be so open-hearted and generous about.

I'm in stiches...best laugh I've had today. So there are at least 3 of us who shop at Talbot's?

I'm donating a few things which still have tags on them. Heck, my Mom found great prices on the clearance rack at Belk's and bought a few things to donate.
Going a little off topic here but I found out earlier that we're getting 2 bus loads from Houston. I have to tell you I'm having mixed emotions about that and feeling guilty about it.
