Doesn't anyone know why the buses stopped running at the Dome?? The AP articles said they suddenly stopped running, with 2000 left at the dome. How many more people left at the convention center, and on the overpass??
Why can't they get these people out?? They should just move them out by any transport means because otherwise it just feeds the MSM and black politicians' rants that the operation is racist.
The reason the buses stopped last night was that the NG needed security from the Louisiana State Police or law enforcement in loading the buses.
But there LSP was awol.
Take a look at last nights scanner reports.
Pure speculation on my part, but I think it's because of two matters - providing more security so searching of the evacuees is more thorough (guns dropped in Houston on arrival,m etc.); and because there is a need to specifically identify desitinations; and because there is a need to have security on each bus - yesterday's fatal accident was caused by a passenger trying to override the driver in order to get off the bus.
1. There's a lot of buses on the road to Texas. That's at least a 12 hour round trip.
2. The LSP is supposed to provide escorts for the buses. Last night, the LSP liason disappeared and wasn't seen for most of the day, and the LSP was completely confused.
It appears the corruption and incompetence extends to ALL government agencies from LA.
