I heard earlier that the NO police department just set all the prisoners in jail free.. and they are the ones causing all the mess...
I even heard they let over hundred prisoners go inside the superdome and they were the ones raping and murdering people because they weren't kept seperate from the innocent people...
did anyone else hear all that?

They did release the prisoners, I didn't hear anything about doing so inside the SuperDome.
What channel were you watching that reported that?
I pretty much have stuck to Fox...
I cannot tolerate MSNBC OR CNN...
you know, prisoners on the run...if that were the case that might explain the reluctance of some folks to any help....they know they're going back to the big house if caught...find a gun, shoot a cop is probably their mentality
still don't know for sure, but i find it hard to believe they'd let prisoners go, but wouldn't be suprised if some made a run either...
