There is some question if this is good or bad in the sense lower prices=more consumption=not staving off possible hysterical run on gas.
However, the other side of me is happy with this. And once those taxes are removed, I'm not certain it's going to be so easy to place them back.
Illinois suspended State Tax several years back. They only did it less than a year. Trust me, government will return the tax, and still sleep soundly at night.
