The Congressional Black Caucus press conference is exploding in indignation at the President's lack of response. First, Elijiah Cummings blasted him. Now it is Jesse Jackson Jr's turn.
I blame the money sucking race pimps.
Watching these race pimps and professional victums on C-SPAN is utterly disgusting. Hard to watch...
The politicians smell power and believe this is the end of Bush. If the sitting President of the United States is removed over this, the country will never recover.
BUMP to that.
Their "solutions" continue to fail, and make things worse, but they keep recycling the same old tired "solutions."
Yep, whether they were registered or not! Here's a couple of questions I would like someone in the local government to answer:
1.) Why didn't you use the 1,000+ school and muni busses sitting there to load your citizens up on the weekend before the storm hit and evacuate them? You would have saved thousands of lives, and you would have also saved all your school busses and municipal busses. But now it's the FEDERAL government's responsibility?
2.) When you took all those busloads of people to Houston, did you fill those busses up with food and water to bring back? Why not?
I've got six TV sets in my house, if I didn't have any I don't think it would even bother me. The only one I ever turn on is a little 17 inch one by my computer and I either watch Fox News or stick a DVD in to watch. When is the left going to wake up to the fact that "poverty" in the United States would be considered wealthy to more than three-quarters of the people in the world?

The MSM, Black leaders, and liberals never fail to point out that the overwhelming color of the victims in NO are Black. Yet, these same people are strangely silent as to the overwhelming White color of those doing all that is humanly possible to rescue those Black victims.

I listened for a few minutes until JJ Jr came on. A real disgusting moment was when Rep. Cummings called Preisdent Bush his "Christian brother" when started quoting Scripture "illuminating" President Bush lack of caring....truly shameful
These people know that the mayor of NO is an idiot. If they tell enough lies and the network news spread those lies, they are hoping that no body will find out what a bunch of ignorant and worthless crap they all are. They know nothing about governing a country or a city, all they know is how to steal from taxpayers. I'm sick of them.

A little hard truth needs to be stated on the TV.
A black mayor- who has fled the city to Baton Rouge- I don't know how far away that is, who is afraid of his own black constituents and won't go back to NO. Has surrounded himself with bodyguards. FOR GOOD REASON, I think.
Reporters interviewing people pleading for help- but the guy being interviewed has managed to find a quart of liqour and is openly waving THAT on camera. I'm sure if I was in dire straights the most important thing I would be carrying is liqour----NOT!!!!!
I predict there will be more rioting and damage. If I were there, I would desire to help, but no way would I try to help someone who was shooting at me. Pilots who won't fly into that kind of danger while trying to lift people off roofs- I cannot place ANY BLAME on them for their desire to stay alive.
The police force of NO has not showed up for work today- more than 50% according to my TV.
Governor of Louisiana should have declared matrial law at the very beginning and she should have asked for help thru the chain of command earlier. Same for the mayor.
Unless I have it wrong, the FEDS COULD NOT just come in until they gov and mayor asked for help. Bush is in a no win position in the whole thing.
Perhaps they'd like to discuss the poverty, illegitimacy, unemployment, crime, illiteracy and dysfunction that have plagued New Orleans blacks for decades......UNDER BLACK, DEMOCRAT, CITY ADMINISTRATIONS.
