Maybe Mayor Nagin would like to explain this picture before he and the rest of his democratic fellow travelers continue to blast the fed's.

It was just on WWL. He said there were thousands of buses in the city under water.
To evacuate the poor and infirmed before the hurricane you wouldn't have needed amphibious buses.
PING
Thanks, you're the best, fellow barn yard denzien!
It's hard to get help to people when the citizenry shoots at the rescuers.
Well, the congressional black causus in its public remarks just about blamed everything on GWB and "compassionate conservatives." This is a sad day when we are all to blame for a hurricane and the dems and libs come out in force to say this is all about black vs white.
From what I've seen of the cases in District Courts in the Big Easy any kid over 12 seems to be able to drive cars that don't belong to them. They should have just left the keys in them on Friday before the storm. That lot would be empty today.
Re your #21, well said, Jeff.
The local lib radio host kept blabbing about Bush "slashing" the levee project from $80 million to $40 million. Ok, but how was the $40 million that they did get spent? How much money was the bureaucracy sitting on already?

Note to self. If I'm in a city that resembles a potential Atlantis, move valuable assets to highest ground when threat of flooding imminent.
Feel like changing your tag line now?
The NO mayor is a joke, I heard him swearing and whining on the radio this morning. He has shown no leadership, just expected the federal govenment ot step in and take care of his city. His anger is not helpful in an already volatile situation. He needs to ratchet down the rhetoric.
This picture and the interview will be Nagin's death in politics.
The black v. white mantra might backfire on the left. If this is all about race, then it's doing a very fine job of feeding the racial stereotypes.
I agree with the black caucus remark...and by the way, where is Oprah to help her fellow black people?
Trust, but verify
Thanks...it's very obvious despite how the MSM and the left try to spin it for their misbegotten political gain. The bastards.
