Very helpful. Thanks. Just what we needed -- a connection list. Our church is looking into "adopting" a family or two, provided they want to move over 1500 miles to our state. We would pay all the expenses. We heard Franklin Graham's challenge to churches.

Franklin Graham! That is who I saw last night on TV. Thanks!! I do believe the churches and the private sector are going to do more and do it faster than the government can or is able.
This isn't either or, its both and.
As we offer housing, there are a few cautions we shoud consider -- 1st and foremost, call your insurance agent and let them know what you are doing.
2. Make sure the refugees you take-in are registered with the American Red Cross.
3. Know who to contact locally for assistance. As many refugees as you take, you take dependents and CAN get assistance.
4. There's more, but I'm talking from past experience.
