I, personally, am outraged at the state of unpreparedness in NO, and the utter lack of planning for a possible worst case scenario, when it was predicted to happen. And as far as what's happening in NO, it's not happening in Mississippi. So Bush is the mayor of NO? If bush is so bad, then why is Miss. so much better?

I'm not blaming Bush, I'm blaming the local government and state government for the unpreparedness. They are responsible for disaster plans.

Plain and simple, for anyone who isn't looking to point the finger of blame. Fewer people.
There aren't as many people in any of the affected towns in Mississippi as there are at the Morial Convention Center right now.

Haley Barbour.
He's been stellar in this. While he doesn't have the charisma of a Presidential contender...I'd bet you $1000 if he handles this as well as he is now through the end...the nomination in '08 is his if he wants it.

So Bush is the mayor of NO? If bush is so bad, then why is Miss. so much better?Because Haley Barbour is in control? Neither the Governor of LA or the Mayor of NO have been in control of the situation at all. They've been lazy and incompetant from the start.
