Can he fire all the useless, FEMA empty suits, and use the money to buy some disaster relief? What everyone will realize is "FEMA" means $130,000 Washington DC jobs, with: 1) no experience and 2) no interest in disaster relief.

Maybe the ol' boy will get it right this time. A bit of confidence and spark could really turn things around, I believe.

Don't "speak"....do!
Actioni and positive steps are long, long overdue.
The Feds had ample warning of the damage and destruction this storm would cause. N.O. knew the levees have always been a weak point. The hospitals knew in the event of a flood, their ground level generators and below ground fuel storage facilities would be in danger.
But no action was taken.
Wonder what this situation would have been like had there been no warning at all???
If we think it's bad now - and it is - imagine what an "unannounced" catastropy of this magnatude would have been like.
