I don't know if anyone has done this yet, but here are some satellite pictures of unused buses in New Orleans:

It makes me want to scream. These are just some of the buses I found in 15 minutes searched the google maps (they have added the Katrina images). You can click on satellite instead of Katrina to show that probably 95% of the buses remained after Katrina hit. There are undoubtedly many more buses left in New Orleans.
