A 5.56 to the abdomens of the obvious leaders of the pack could have saved many lives if done early. If joe-gang-banger hears and sees his hommie wailing and screaming in a pool of blood it kind of takes the fun out of gang rape and looting. In every single riot the longer you let it go the more people join in

You're absolutely right, though. The isrealis have the right idea in putting down violent riots in the past. The leaders would receive a shot from a supressed .22 rifle. They'd fall down in pain from an unknown source, but everybody knew what it was.
Seeing a few violent thugs get taken out will remove the wind from the sails of the most ardent criminal. Without phones or modern communication, word WILL get around that the people keeping the peace mean business.
Of course, they will demonize me for sugggesting violent thugs be taken out of action. I've been labeled a nazi for it. I don't care - more innocenet people would be alive today, fewer women would have been raped- if the government had taken swift, strong action to deter lawlessness.
