Anybody watching Anderson Cooper now? He's losing it publicly, blasting Sen. Landrieu, saying she doesn't understand the pain of the New Orleans survivors. He seems traumatized by having witnessed a couple of dead bodies in the streets. Cooper seems like he's descending into madness.

The Convention Center was NEVER designated a shelter -- the people who are there screaming into the TV cameras are the ones who have left the SuperDome because they are refusing to leave New Orleans.
They broke into the Convention Center.
I doubt it as well. . .the Lib rats/MSM will not let them go there. . .we can count on that.
"Why would the FEMA Director lie for attribution? Do you think he's stupid enough to think that his claim can not be checked? On the other hand NBC has a history of lying when it comes to the Bush family."
They were showing a lot of people on tv who looked very sick to me, at least. Babies that looked like they were in bad shape. And a lot of dead bodies of people who obviously weren't killed by the hurricane but by waiting for help afterward.
I'm not saying that MSNBC isn't biased, but even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day.
The federal government needs to do a lot more VERY SOON, or there is going to be hell to pay for incumbent politicians in 2006.
And that FEMA director looks like an idiot when his words are being contradicted by what the cameras are showing in the New Orleans Convention Center and the Superdome.
True, but in this case she said the right things.
No, he did not.
Sorry I missed that priceless tv moment!
He also spent an impressive week in Beirut during the protests last spring, including a trip over the border into Syria.
Spouting without knowing what you're (not you, the generic "you") talking about seems acceptable on this forum, though. And watch, they'll be proud of their ignorance. Facts don't matter here, it's been said...
Bump. . .
I was just thinking the same thing. That the reporting from Iraq is relentlessly Chicken Little -- the sky is falling, just like Katrina.
These people are basically actors reading scripts. They are chosen for their pretty faces and their ability to emote.
Now put them at the scene of a real disaster with dead bodies floating in the water and it scares the bejeezus out of them.
You didn't tell me why the FEMA Director would lie, you told me he looks like an idiot. I don't care what he looks like I want to know why he would lie about the people at the Superdome being supplied with water and provisions.
Isn't that the damn truth.
Mainstream Media, OR ...
Mind-Scalding Madness
Not to be an apologist for her, because I don't care much for her, but in this case she indicated "former" simply to distinguish him from the present President Bush. She knows that you normally don't use the word former with ex-presidents, congress critters, etc.
My skin is crawling.
is it "impressive" then for him to scream in outrage at Landrieu, "who are you angry at, who do you blame?"
Thank you. I do feel sort of ......dirty.
When a reporter loses his objectivity, he loses it. It happens, sometimes people have had enough and can't take any more. It's time to go home when that happens.
"The Convention Center was NEVER designated a shelter -- the people who are there screaming into the TV cameras are the ones who have left the SuperDome because they are refusing to leave New Orleans. They broke into the Convention Center."
Wrong. When conditions in the Superdome began to deteriorate, police began to direct additional survivors (people who had ridden out the storm in their homes) to the NOCC to wait for buses out of town.
