"This is a disaster of epic proportions, that NO city or state or nation is prepared for"
I've heard a few people on TV this morning talking about phase II -- when all of those nasty bacteria/germs/viruses incubate in those poor people who had to walk/swim through the muck in the streets.
That's what I hope this nation is prepared for -- the way the refugees are being dispersed, there is a possibility for nationwide epidemics if they're not.
We discussed the disease problem a few days ago. I don't think anyone's forgotten that is waiting in the wings, but right now it just isn't center stage.
