This is starting to look like the end of New Orleans as a major tourist destination. When the stories of tourists being raped, robbed, and beaten up by the local thugs are published in a few days, not many people will want to go there. Biloxi should bounce back in a year or so and when it's rebuilt bigger and better than before, Biloxi will pull tourists away from New Orleans.
The horror of what the tourists are now enduring as hostages of the armed thugs in the convention center will make Saddam's sons look like choirboys when the news becomes widely reported.
