Looting--Hell, I thought this was a story about the price per barrel that was artificially high all freakin summer. Or Atlanta gas stations charging over $5 per gallon of gas making profit off someone else's pain and need.
PS. All the gas distributors bought the current lot of oil contracts at less than $60 per barrel back in the day.

Oil speculators are having a field day as the false panic is installed to gouge frantic customers at the pump.
Even after 9/11 the price to buy an American flags went way up and eventually came back down to normal and demand leveled off.

Yeah but they have to replace it with $71/bbl gas. In that business you have to charge for the next tank load, not the last one.
