Yeah, bring back stagflation. I still think I have one of my old WIN buttons somewhere...

Yeah, I heard it. As one who likes to top off every day I don't want price controls which will lead to very long lines. Right now, I'm spending $3/day on gas.

What a nutcase. He must want to see the return of runaway inflation again.

Savage is more of a populist than a conservative. I like his show, though.

On a good day, he's an idiot. The rest of the time he's a moron.

That raises gas consumption because all those people in the loooong gas lines keep their motors running until they get to the pump.

Savage has also suggested that homeless people be rounded up and put in "camps".

I'll pass on both suggestions.

Savage is unstable. He can have all the gas he wants at market prices.

Let him go try to find some $2.00 gas - he can announce on his radio show when he finds it.

Huh!? I thought yesterday he was against this?! Said that it would lead to shortages because suppliers would then pprefer to sell gas where they got the higher prices.

He called for a short term 60 or 90 day price fix on gas to keep the gas industry from gouging (the rough equivalent of looting). He didn't suggest an extended or permanent price fix.

Actually, if Dubya did it for 30 or 60 days it would make him look interested in it (instead of todays know-nothing statement) and add some juice to his popularity.
