The left is in charge of this at the local state level but then you should know that.
In a way, I am not in agreement with the media censoring what they could be showing us. I think a stark reminder needs to be sent on the real cost of not evacuating. The images we should be seeing would shock us into reality on what a significant storm such as this can do. I'm not saying they should be showing us bloated bodies in a house, but just think about some of the images from 9/11 of people falling from the WTC and their impact on us. They remark about bodies everywhere, yet we must take their word for it. Maybe even confine it to afterhours with plenty of warning. I think it is important for us to have access to these images to get a grasp on the human cost, not just the property losses.
