Last time I checked, 1 million people didn't lose their homes Sept. 11th.
"Last time I checked, 1 million people didn't lose their homes Sept. 11th."
Diddle, you're my friend and a fellow Texan. This is not about race or culture. This is about bad behavior.
Those folks in New York made me proud on that awful day four years ago. And they continued to help each other out. My city and culture is less like theirs than that of New Orleans, but I admired the brotherhood they exhibited.
I realize the situation in New Orleans is desperate, but roving gangs with machine guns, hijacking vehicles, shoplifing electronics when the electricity is out, beseiging hospitals and police stations -- that is simple bad behavior, and I am appalled.
I believe that if you'll think about it, you will be, too.
