What did you want the president to say that he didn't say? Just curious. Thanks for asking. AGAIN, I LOVE THIS PRESIDENT!!!! I would have had him condemn the looting. I would have had him make some kind of statement that Americans are better than some of the pictures have shown. I would have had him say that the rescue workers are heroes...and I would have had him (without fully mentioning it) say that these rescue workers are the equal of any in our history. I thought he sounded kind of silly talking about "144 generators." We're sending generators. Period. The laundry-list-by-the-numbers was not Presidential. Again, just my opinion.

I understand what you're saying. But IMO, the speech overall told Americans what we needed to know, not what we wanted to hear. That's the important thing.

I thought he sounded kind of silly talking about "144 generators." These 144 generators are not the type you see running some sound system for a protest rally. These are big boys with enough kilowatts to run large areas--and pumps to pump the flooded area out.
