CHICAGO Mayor Richard Daley has apologized for the state of scandal-plagued City Hall, saying he should have done more to prevent corruption in his administration. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA! (wipes tears from eyes)
Thanks! I needed that!

"Mayor Richard Daley has apologized for the state of scandal-plagued City Hall, saying he should have done more to prevent corruption in his administration." This is Mayor Daley...now I know I'm in there...and if I don't come out with my hands up...I'm coming in after me...

I did a little research, it would be interesting to "follow the money" on the park project if it ever gets underway.

"
"I take responsibility..............." Wasn't that a famous Janet Reno quote after Waco. This means I won't quit. These people have no shame and they certainly won't give up power without a bulldozer breaking down their office wall.

"His grand corruptness had it bulldozed in the middle of the night, leaving countless planes stranded - all so he could put up a new park."
But you know they needed a new park along the lake front. All the other parks have been taken over by illegal aliens. Went there a month ago. I won't be going back anytime soon. They are EVERYWHERE.

Exactly. I live in Chicago. Quality of life is really nice if you can hold your nose to the stench of Mayoral corruption.
Even my lefty dialogue partners are tired of this Kennedy wannabe.
