Mayor Richard Daley has apologized for the state of scandal-plagued City Hall, saying he should have done more to prevent corruption in his administration.
In unrelated news, OJ Simpson is still looking for the real killer.

In the hiring fraud scandal, city officials are alleged to have faked scores to help applicants get city jobs after they earned political clout by working in get-out-the-vote organizations. Let me guess. Would that be partisan democrat "get-out-the-vote" organizations?
To: BJClinton
Well, he apologized, that settles it. We can sweep it under the rug and focus on the real corruption in the Bush administration.

The name "Daley" associated with political corruption in Chicago? What year is this?

meigs field
home airport for every version of MS flight simulator.
His grand corruptness had it bulldozed in the middle of the night, leaving countless planes stranded - all so he could put up a new park.
Oh, what he did was a violation of federal law, too.
He cited terrorism fears for it (yes, a cessna 172 could decimate downtown chicago). But the truth is he was trying to close meigs since 1995.
Meigs is a shining example of the arrogance of king daley.

Like father like son. The Democrat Party is a criminal enterprise and should be investigated by the RICO statutes.
