I'm watching the news right now and not seeing any of this catyclismic end of the world destruction people are talking about on here.

Is it bad? Yes. No doubt about that.

No one's talking about "the end of the world." We're talking about clear images of tens of thousands of homes and business destroyed, possibly thousands dead (hundreds at a minimum), a major city flooded and without power, and perhaps hundreds of thousands of people homeless. This doesn't impress you as a disaster of significant proportions?

I don't doubt the numbers will be in the hundreds or over a thousand. But this report, still unsubstantiated and with no follow-ups from the poster, indicates "thousands" which means more than two thousand victims now. And they're supposedly in plain sight in the killer trees and in Rockwellian family groups down on the beach or in their homes.

It still doesn't wash. And the longer we go without confirmation, the less likely it is to be true.
