I'm watching the news right now and not seeing any of this cataclysmic end of the world destruction people are talking about on here.

I don't doubt the numbers will be in the hundreds or over a thousand. But this report, still unsubstantiated and with no follow-ups from the poster, indicates "thousands" which means more than two thousand victims now. And they're supposedly in plain sight in the killer trees and in Rockwellian family groups down on the beach or in their homes.

It still doesn't wash. And the longer we go without confirmation, the less likely it is to be true.

According to one poster, the population of these communities is more than 300,000. If "only" 1% died, that would be 3,000 deaths, not even counting New Orleans. Looking at the devastation, that does not seem unlikely.

"with no follow-ups from the poster,"

He was here last night for the post.

" they're supposedly in plain sight in the killer trees"

A tree acts just like a fish net to things being washed along by 20' of water.

"Rockwellian family groups down on the beach or in their homes.

~2/3 of the folks stayed. There's a lot of slabs and tangled piles left.
