Astonishing Exclusive From Mississippi [hundreds if not thousands dead]
Paramedic Rescue Operation | 8-31-05 | My Favorite Headache

Posted on 08/30/2005 10:10:45 PM PDT by My Favorite Headache

It is with heavy heart I write this...

I have finally reconnected with my best friend who is a paramedic who was sent from Georgia 2 days ago to Gulf Port, Mississippi before the hurricane hit.

He just reached me within the last 10 mins via emergency cell phone to tell me he was alive.

Thousands of bodies have been discovered throughout Mississippi in Gulf Port, Waveland,Hancock County,Bay of St.Louis.

They are hanging in trees and they are pulling them out 30 at a time. Entire families found drowned in their homes and washing up on shore.

The stories he could tell me were brief. National Guard is on the scene and arresting anyone seen on the streets.

The numbers are staggering and what I have been told tonight will shake people to their foundation as the numbers will be coming out in the next 24-hours of just how many people have actually perished in these and 3 other beach communities.

More to follow....

As soon as the first pics trickled in, I knew this was terrible. Even before landfall I was telling people we were going to see things we only saw from the tsunami zone last year.

I am going to pray that number is off, it just doesn't make sense to me that we would have had that many people still in the city. The water also did come up pretty slowly in most of NO proper. That said, those who were left behind were probably mostly elderly/sick/poor. They might not have had a chance to get out alive.

I think numbers that high are too speculative at this point, but I do not rule them out. 10-20k seems highly possible, and even more is certainly not out of the question. 100k+... I don't even want to think about that, I can't really comprehend how bad it already is.

I wouldn't want anyone to stand in awe of me about anything unless it was what God has done in my life; His Grace, Mercy and Love to me

I'm not questioning that He's working in you, it's not my job. You just seem to get off on poking your self righteous stick in ant mounds.

When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.

If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not keep a tight rein on his tongue, he deceives himself and his religion is worthless.

No man can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison. With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing.

Quit swinging around that plank in your eye.

i WOULDN'T mind seeing both parties bite the dust. They've been manipulated by the puppet masters for decades.

Certainly the Senate is under wholesale control.

Not at all interested in even starting to think about tracking down sources. Have studied such since 1965. Have a number of friends and relatives etc. who've had various positions sufficient to know interesting things.

But, hey, even the crazy web has some solid info on it. Those who are good at screening chaff from wheat can find plenty startling valid facts relatively easily.

Update: President's meeting with officials is still ongoing and he may be a few minutes late according to Neil Cavuto.

Could it get any worse? Fox just said armed bands of looters are wandering downtown NO

How about an armed band of looters taking over a children's hospital?

It was reported right here on this thread. And the cops can't get to it.

Criminal negligence by the local leadership.

Actually my interpretation from all ya'll's postings is that anyone who disagrees with you 1/10,000,000,000th in the direction of my perspective is deemed by you to be due the utmost hostility, rejection, assault, insult, etc.

If you disagree with my perspective so intensely, feel free to ignore all my posts.

It appears to me that I have as much right to post out of my perspective as you do to post out of yours as long as I'm reasonably civil etc.

You are the ones who have refused from the start to be any shade of civil toward me.

Interesting.

Yet, somehow, I'm the bad one beyond the pale.

And yes - that does concern me. But when I think of the devastation and heatache and loss down south, the extra 5 cents a mile I have to spend to pick up my healthy kids from their first day at school and then to the park for soccer practice pales in comparison. And I think today will be a good day for an extra-special trip to the DQ for a treat with the whole family.

Well said.

That you would even rely upon the lame stream media to print the truth is also laughable. Does Dan Rather/cBS come to mind? How about "Bias" They don't report the truth anymore....unless it serves a purpose...the press are presstitutes...

One involves their political motivations (Rather). The other is a natural disaster which the Left (global warming nuts and critics of Republican management of government) will seek to capitalize on.

In both they have motive. But one was entirely fabricated and peddled as propaganda. But with this disaster, despite their motives for massively over-reporting casualties, they seem pretty cautious.

I think you refuted your own points. But that's just me.

Computer models are subject to "garbage in, garbage out."

Yeah but I've noted one scary thing. Unlike physical models which aren't even close, behavioral and population trend models tend to be eerily accurate.

How about an armed band of looters taking over a children's hospital?

I read that but hoped it was an isolated incident. Apparently not.

You are the ones who have refused from the start to be any shade of civil toward me.

And I, specifically, have been uncivil to you how?

Oh, it must be by highlighting your judgmental pharisaical attitude towards those who are suffering ... you implying that they got it because New Orleans is an evil city.

OK, I can own that. I did point it out.

Would you like some cheese with your whine?
