Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! The Federal Government cut spending! We might have to pay for this stuff ourselves! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

In early 2004, as the cost of the conflict in Iraq soared, President Bush proposed spending less than 20 percent of what the Corps said was needed for Lake Pontchartrain, Who is this RAT trying to kid? We spend over $1 trillion annually on social welfare. Surely, we could have taken a few hundred million out of that $1 trillion budget for social welfare so NO could screw with their stupid leeves. We all know why this RAT fails to talk about the $1 trillion in wasteful social welfare. This is just political anti-Bush crap.

That Bush family evil doings go way back. Did you know that it was Prescott Bush that egged on Leopold and Loeb?

This shit has to stop. Inland waterways funding and military funding are two entirely different types of appropriations that come out of entirely different committees. They are in no way related. It is up to Congress to appropriately fund inland waterways repair and maintenance. They have not.

Wonder how many Indonesian Al Quaida bases will be sending left over Tsunami relief dollars to the Katrina victims...
Ya think Germany and France will have a contest to see who can send the most money to New Orleans?

If the LA rats in control spent less on welfare votes and more
on keeping their state up to date then maybe the dikes would
not be out of control.
These rats blaming bush are no better than the complete morons
blaming global warming on President Bush and the cause of hurricanes. America needs to purge the leftists to remain America.

Duh.
They mean 10 feet below water.
Sea level hasn't changed.
Stupid writer.

I'm a Bush supporter but he should be activating reservists and offering to cover costs for NG from nearby states. 4,000 Louisiana NG isn't 10% of what they need for a catastrophe like this.

I really WANT the left-wing looney-tunes Bush-bashers to keep it up. Every time they say something they reach a higher plateau of stupidity. They will eventually lose because everyone will be laughing so hard at them their message won't get through.

It's costing me $19k to get the flood damage to my property fixed from last year's rains. I'm still waiting for Bush's personal check. After all, his policies caused
31 inches of rain to fall in three days and undermine my foundation.
I would also like reparations for the sunburn I got on the Fourth of July weekend. Because of W the ozone layer ain't what it used to be.
My boat's paint job fades quicker too. He owes me for that also.

Wasn't the Kyoto Treaty drafted during the Clinton administration? And didn't Bill wisely refuse to sign it? So why isn't all this his fault?

In fact, the federal government has been working with state and local officials in the region since the late 1960s on major hurricane and flood relief efforts. They've been spending money for 40 years and couldn't get the job done? Seems as though the money was squandered.
