I just returned from DU (Gawd, I need a shower). THey are REALLY aghast at the prospect of looters being shot. They try to justify it as "well if they need it...." When one poor schmoe tride to talk about roaming armed gangs looting and pillaging, he was defamed as a racist and thug.

Liberals never cease to amaze me with their ability to justfy evil. THe winner was the post about how if Bush hadn't created all the poor people in LA that there wouldn't be any problem. Another weasel tried to say that a "President Kerry" would have already released the SPR and that the gas prices would have NEVER risen.

Good Lord these people are dillusional....I mean their arguments are so full of so many holes that Katrina could have passed through without a scratch....they are rotten to the bone....IMHO

New Orleans will be shut down for 3 or 4 months. This means NO is dead. People who worked in the city are going to need to get jobs elsewhere, and they most likely won't come back when the city is re-opened. Businesses that were based in NO are going to have to try to relocate. Those that don't go bust won't have the $$$ to relocate back in NO
