I'd make sure to use brass shells in that thing. Plastic ones might melt if you do rapid firing.
Actually, they don't seem to have any more problems than a pump does with that.
I've dumped ten mags through mine in quick succession, never had a melting problem except with some *really* cheap Walmart Winchester that didn't like my pump much either.
