Is the Gov. on the verge of a breakdown? The cube-bound, TV deprived of us think so.
I don't think we can properly understand the magnitude of this from where we sit.
Whatever the political thoughts are on the governor, she may very well know that the city is lost, at least to the extent that "cajungirl" would agree. I'm sure there are enough knowledgable people contributing their prognosis to this dire situation.
I'm not speculating on what the truth is, but the actions of local officials do not evoke a whole lot of hope.
She looks to be on the verge of a breakdown to me as well. She is clueless for the most part and other people have to answer the questions.
I personally think she is about to lose it. She is just not up to the task that is on her shoulders.
