I do not have TV, but, I will guess that you are seeing Americans with darker skin engaging in criminal acts. This is a surprise to you?

Let's transpose this whole scene to South Boston; and tell me that the white Irish in that neighborhood would act any differently. There are respectable blacks in NO and respectable whites in Southie. But, the veneer of civilization is very thin, regardless of race or geography.

Take it down? I am commenting on exactly what I see on the TV and that is a fact. You could argue that the news footage might be slanted in what they decide to photograph but you can't dispute the predominate race of the looters.

I am from Boston and I am telling you THE WHITE IRISH IN SOUTH BOSTON WOULD ACT DIFFERENTLY AND DID ACT DIFFERENTLY.

During the Blizzard of '78 there was no looting in South Boston.
