I am wondering that as well. I looked up ebay's giving program this morning and I rarely sell things that are high-priced so nothing I sell would make their cut of $10 minimum. Plus, I couldn't find the local charities listed, let alone the Salvation Army or Catholic Charities USA??

I guess I can just sell the items and give the $$ to the charities without letting ebay do it.

(thank you, for your earlier comment. if i lived closer, I'd open my home... but I don't so am trying to think of any way I can help...)

I know exactly what you mean. I wish I could go and help or as you say, open my home. I have a camp trailer that people could use in addition to 2 unused bedrooms in my house but I'm too far away. A little bit of money will have to suffice.
