I agree...which surprises me at just how well the economy has hummed along until this time. From the moment Bush stepped in office it was one "disaster" after another...starting with a contested election and the Chinese plane-downing/hostage situation. Whether it was the inherited recession, corporate scandals, 9/11, war (almost civil at times) and several natural disasters...Bush and this country have shown remarkable resiliency.
