The media loves to portray Cindy Sheehan as just a mom, who lost her son at war, and is demanding answers from the president that is charge of the war.
But Sheehan's vile statements about Israel, the U.S. and the president are a far cry from a grieving mother, they show her for the professional protester she has become.
When you go to Sheehan's web site, the first thing you will be greeted with is a plea for cash.
What you can do to help? Support Cindy by making a contribution:
Your financial support is needed to make sure that Cindy and other military families and veterans can continue their vigil outside the Presidents, (sic) ranch. Please contribute to help cover the costs of assisting others with their travel and their stay in Crawford.
According to Byron York, earlier it asked for donors who might be able to offer a camper, or an RV, or just money, for Sheehan's upcoming cross-country tour, scheduled to begin Wednesday in Crawford, Texas, and end in Washington at the big antiwar demonstration scheduled for September 24.
At the end of the note, readers with something to offer are asked to "please call organizer Lisa Fithian."
"Fithian is a legendary organizer who operates in the world of anti-globalism anarchists, antiwar protesters, and union activists; an advocate of aggressive "direct action" demonstrations, she protested the first Gulf war, played an important role in the violent shutdown of Seattle during the 1999 World Trade Organization meeting, was a key planner in protests at the Republican and Democratic national conventions in 2000 and 2004, and organized demonstrations at trade meetings in Washington, D.C., Prague, and Genoa."
And apparently Fithian can deliver the rent-a-mob radical protesters with the best of them. Still, the group needs cash.
Why? Hey--this type of stuff ain't cheap, someone has to pay the bills.
John Hinderaker links to this post by Documentary filmmaker Andrew Marcus that shows a PSSI Video production truck likely provided for Cindy's professional protest.
Oh, and parked directly outside the Camp Casey II tent was this satellite truck. The interesting thing about this sat truck is that I dont think it was there with any news organization. I could be incorrect on this, but Im pretty sure that it was brought in by the anti-war protesters themselves. It is what gives them internet access from the tent, and it is also what they use to create their own video packages to deliver to the networks. These are some extremely well funded and media savvy people. It is not just a grass roots effort by every day people.
He was correct. Look here and here.
Cindy Sheehan can protest, blame Israel, blame the president and blame America all she wants. Just be genuine about it.
Her rent-a-mob protest is nothing more than a well-funded assault on President Bush and anti-any-war (including Afghanistan and the first Iraq war) by the very far left political fringe.
Perhaps it is time for Cindy Sheehan to come clean about her organizers and who is paying the bills.
The groupies have created quite a sizeable coalition at Sheehans campout in Texas. Some of the headliners include Gold Star Families for Peace, Code Pink, Veterans for Peace, Military Families Speak Out and the Crawford Peace House.
All of these groups are on the steering committee of United for Peace and Justice, a major anti-war organization.
Also with a presence on UPJs steering committee is the Communist Party USA. Makes for interesting bedfellows, doesnt it?
UPJ was the brainchild behind the march on the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York.
When 253 of its protesters were polled by the New York Sun as to whether they felt that Iraqi attacks on Americans occupying Iraq are legitimate resistance 67 percent answered yes.
This means Sheehans coalition thinks the kind of attack that killed her son is perfectly okay. ....*** Source
I wonder if the Sheehan group realizes that there are FBI and/or homeland Security spies within their organization, just like in the 1960s?
They'd be disappointed if there weren't.
"earlier it asked for donors who might be able to offer a camper, or an RV, or just money, "
If this Cindy person is all worried about a war
for oil why is she seeking gas-guzzling vehicles
for her cause? Does the woman have no sense of irony?
If she was sincere she would at least lead a caravan
of hybrid vehicles. Even more sincere, she would ride
a bicycle. Or walk.
Go HERE to view her glowing beauty and subtle feminity.

Did you catch the sidebar offering Joe Wilson's thoughts on Cindy and her work? The weasel is still working the Niger lie.
hmmm
sounds like Mullahs' regime!
I did now.
These people couldn't be any slimier and selfserving.
I wonder how much money is coming from Bin Laden?
The whole thing reeks of the unreality of a television sitcom (or a Michael Moore "documentary!"), with the makeup teams, script writers, producers, PR flacks, and spin doctors. I wonder when she will sign up for her first Nancy Pelosi face lift?
The "protest/vigil/demonstration" is a fabricated sideshow, propped up by the extreme liberal groups like Moveon, and populated by what is probably the entire U.S. contingent of jobless America-haters.
As I continue to say, Sheehan spent all her "moral currency" the second the protest became about her and not her son. She can beg for money, but she can't recover what little moral authority she had.
It seems there are a lot of well heeled LIBERALS who will bankroll these anarchists.
Well, I doubt it but I won't be surprised to find out that Syrians, Mullahs of Iran or Cubans are behind "Jihad Cindy" to distract Pres. Bush from what he has to do!

Remember how eager Rep. Cynthia McKinney of GA was to scoop up $millions from the Middle East?
I'm sure you're right. No doubt Hugo Chavez is sending some oil profits to these anti-American activists.

Cue camera. Give me a break, how nauseating that picture is. Warrior my ass. Her son was a warrior. These people need to be shipped out to Iraq to see what our men and women are really doing over there instead of sitting on their butts spewing their anti-Bush anti-American hatred all day.
AWK!
