Aug 19, 2005 -- Circuit Court Judge John H. Chamblin this morning reduced a jurys recommended sentence by five years for an Ashburn man convicted of felony child abuse and malicious wounding of an infant. The decision to reduce the sentence angered the prosecutor and at least one of the 12 jurors.

The Jeffrey Curley case was pathetic all the way around, the brutal killing plus the ridiculous sentencing, I'm with the other poster, BRING BACK PUBLIC STONING, BRING BACK PUBLIC HANGING!
I agree, give SINdy more air time, dems won't be in power til the year 3050!!
Because the kid's still alive and doing well...That's where I disagree with O'Reilly...
If you get 20 or 30 years, or life in prison, you may as well kill the kid and try to get rid of the evidence...It's sometimes the difference between abused and alive, and dead...
Let me try again as I have no idea what was offensive in my previous post.
When the public officals will not carry out the will of the citizens, the citizens will act.
heck I say draw and quarter his discusting butt
Well, I hope it's like that prison they mentioned on a recent Cold Case Files program.
Seemed this one POS got life insurance policies on his wives and then pushed them off cliffs. He got away with it in the 70s but got nailed for that and another one in the 90s (I think).
Got sent to prison. A few months later he was found dead at the bottom of a 30' cliff with a piece of tape over his mouth and the word "GERONIMO!" written on his forehead.
The prison reported it as a [ahem] suicide.
It was the first time I stood up and clapped while watching TV.
The Curley case should've been tried by the feds, and not just for the possibility of the death penalty, either.
BTTT
"What, you think there's honor among scum?"
I have had two close friends who worked at prisons. Child abusers/rapists should fear for their lives in prison from what I hear.
Time for some flyers and picketing the judge's home and neighborhood?

That was a heartwarming story. I hope the people who are mopping up their own neighbrhood face no problems in the future.
The funny thing,if you are not familar with Ashburn.
It is a white collar town. Can not get a town house for under 400k. Houses start at 675k.
I will assume this couple rented.
That's the ticket!
Let's put panties on his head, and make him look at nekkid wimmin!
Screw the torture; just kill him somewhat slowly.
My mother-in-law works at a prison in Upstate NY and most of the inmates do have families of their own. They don't take kindly to anyone who mistreats kids (even if they might not have been the most loving fathers themselves.)
Let's hope this guy is in the general population and word gets out as to what he is in for. Let's see who gets branded with a lighter then.......
