Democrats will want this man elevated to the Supreme Court.

Remember - per Judge Lefkow of Chicago, you CANNOT criticize judges anymore because it puts their lives in danger (except conservatives like Judge Roberts).

I spent some time looking over the sex offender website for NC. It appears to me that about 1/2 of these guys recieved probation only sentences.

Miller burned the child with a lighter, branded an “X” on the infant and broke the child’s jaw.

It wasn't his fault, it was Society's.

What's even worse is that the jury could have given him 30, but they gave him 20.

The guy branded an X into an infant with a lighter.

How do you not recommend the absolute maximum?

No to mention he was the mothers "boyfriend."

I'm sure she isn't the wisest mother on earth...

At the time of the crimes, which occurred April 9, 2004, Miller was dating the infant’s mother, who was at work during the abuse. Miller burned the child with a lighter, branded an “X” on the infant and broke the child’s jaw. The doctor’s report listed 15 injuries the child sustained, which included bleeding of the brain, heavy bruising, cuts and multiple circular burns.

Indeed abusers of children are at the low end of the food chain, but I have a feeling this guy's going to live a good long time and hate every last second of it. Chances are, any punishment we can think of here will be taken to a much further extreme once word of what he did gets around.

What, you think there's honor among scum?

Or do you think prison is really like what we see on TV?

BRING BACK PUBLIC STONING

Rock on!!! Public stoning, public humiliation like being forced to wear a sign on a street corner all day saying I AM A CHILD ABUSER.

Here in MA a loser who abused an animal got 2 1/2 years, a loser who sexually abused a child got 2 years, go figure.

How much time did the scum who killed Jeffrey Curley get? They really needed to be publicly executed.

Probably not, I'm thinking it's Bush's fault, just like everything else is, including Katrina. (wait and see)

I was thinking karl Rover generated katrina, to take the coverage off of Cindy Sheehan...

(Actually, I think the more coverage this person gets, the better. Kinda like Michael Moore.)
