Watergate took a great amount of time at simmer - years - before it exploded. What nopardons said is right - yet again.
Explain to me just how revealing the whole story tomorrow (for those who would have a temper tantrum otherwise) will enhance our security or understanding significantly, as opposed to revealing this when Congress is in town next week when they will be able them to deal much more effectively with it. This is going to be a long series story, not a half-hour sitcom.
Go outside and ask 10 people what Able Danger is. You'll get blank stares.
I started to talk about it with my dentist, last week, and even though he is a Conservative GOPer and is interested in politics, he had NO IDEA what I was talking about.
A couple of thousand people are members of FR and many of those nics are multiples used by one person. Sure, there are also lurkers who haven't joined, but they aren't here as often as you might suppose. And then there are the lefties, who spy on us and the MSM who already know about this and that's that.
