But it was still plenty devastating enough.

well I am worried about what we will get out of Mississippi from this one.

they took the direct hit that appeared to be coming for NO.

You mean Homestead? (Was in that one) God was that horrible. The weather was so bad, as far as wind went, that after the storm passed I saw a pencil in a three, no kidding.

I was in the northern eye wall of Andrew (165++ mph). These pictures are very reminiscent of the aftermath, except we didn't have this much water. A few feet of it for a day or so, but not like this. The wind damage was worse, but the flooding here makes this storm worse overall in my estimation.

We didn't have a whole lot of looting after Andrew, after a couple of looters were shot by some of the locals and it was reported on the news. One guy was shot in the face, and it was gruesome. Not much looting after that..
