Police cracking down on violence around border nightclubs
YUMA, Ariz. San Luis, Mexico, police are tired of rowdiness at town nightclubs.
They're doubling their presence near the city's nightclubs in response to recurring weekend violence.
Police have placed between 16 and 20 patrol cars in the center of town near the clubs. They've also have stepped up I-D checks before patrons are allowed to enter clubs.
A San Luis police commander says many underage teenagers try to enter the clubs. Mexico's drinking age is 18.
Authorities say many are coming into San Luis Rio Colorado from the U-S.
Mexican police say the solution is to coordinate with law enforcement in the United States to ensure that people younger than 18 aren't crossing the border. One Mexican judge says he sees nearly 80 people each Saturday who are accused of committing crimes outside the clubs.
How about - we won't cross - if they don't?
I wonder if the patrons use a crayon to draw a picture of themselves on a card & write on it that they are 18 years old, if the bars will accept the card? The illegals expect us to honor their matricula consular card.
Never been to Mexico, but do you suppose an acceptable ID looks a lot like a five dollar bill?
Or a food coupon from WIC.
Had to google that one. "Women, Infants and Children"?
They don't feed men? Shame on them.

Reminds me that time my bride and I were partying south of the border, then we took a nice slow walk to the car (a long tracking shot in fact), and then went to the border, and then suddenly a car up ahead blew up.
Oh no, that was Charlton Heston in 'Touch of Evil,' not me. Sorry!
Been there, done that, no ID required, no age denied, money does all the talking.
50 million crooks + (50 million crooked cops) x 2 = < crime?
I've had more than my share of Ajo Specials while clearing the goldwater range down there.......:o)
I think there warrants for my arrest on the Mex side of the fence still !
