Curious how they emphasize they are for 'non violence'

Ha! Just go read any of the After-Action reports from any given FReep , where these "non violent" protesters were present. Most of the time, the police have to make a barrier around the FReepers to protect them from the 'non violent'.

Agreed.

I will do my best to be there. We have family plans, which doesn't happen too often, but if they should fall through, I WILL BE THERE.

Hopefully it will be possible to jump in at the last minute.

I'm now personally boycotting Ben and Jerry's

Yeah, doesn't it just frost your cake when these idiots get rich because of the system under which they prosper, and spend a fortune to try and bring that system down and replace it with one under which they would not be allowed to own a business? Real smart.

To be fair, Honest, I think that York meant that their side had more financial support, and he's probably right on that.

BTW did you know that Al Sharpton's driver got arrested and the Caddy impounded when he was racing for the airport with Big Al? The Sherriff stopped them (going waaaay over the limit). Driver explained they were racing for the airport. Sherriff said too bad, you're under arrest and impounded the Caddy but he and his Deputys offered to take Sharpton to the nearby motel to call a cab. Sharpton declined and walked to it. WoooHooo. The story isn't on Google. I read it at lgf but I'll post a link as soon as I find it again. I may have to borrow lgf's link to the story but it was POETIC....LUVED it. And not because I'm racist though I'll bet that's what Sharpton was thinking about the Sherriff. I just think it's a 'gotcha' for one of Cindy's friends, more than anything to do with Sharpton.

Here it is courtesy of LGF:

http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20050829/ap_on_re_us/sharpton_driver_arrest_1

"Sharpton Driver Arrested For Speeding"

"WAXAHACHIE, Texas - A car carrying the Rev. Al Sharpton led sheriff's deputies on a nine-mile chase at speeds up to 110 mph before state troopers stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, authorities said.

"The civil rights activist called the sheriff's report "ludicrous" and accused the Ellis County officers of "embellishing the story."...." Read and enjoy it all!

After the rally in Crawford I spoke with two couples who had arrived late and missed the rally. They said they'd gotten lost trying to find the MAF rally and ended up on the road out by sheehan's camp instead.

They said they as they drove past the camp location some woman came running out into the street screaming at them......mind you these folks didn't have signs or flags all over their vehicles......they said it was totally bizarre! Driving down a back road in Texas and being accosted by a lunatic furious that they were there.

This sort of tells me that Saturday was really upsetting for the moonbats ~ for the first time, contrary to what the MSM would have everyone believe, they were forced to see that they absolutely do NOT speak for the majority of Americans!

That is what bothered me the most about York's interview...he made it sound like Cindy and the group Veterans for Peace just decided on the spur of the moment, after a rally in Dallas, to drive to Crawford....

Heck, no, I saw a piece about her on local Dallas news the night before she left for Crawford, and it was made pretty apparent that it was planned...she already had the humongous bus with Impeachment Tour or whatever with her, completely outfitted with bunks, clothes, etc..

Thanks. So California is represented by two idiotic women. Do you know how they voted? I'd heard that 95 Senators voted to go to war, 5 against. I'd like to know which 5. Anybody?

"Isn't that a Clinton dream".....lol

I wouldn't be a bit surprised to find the not so subtle hand of Hillary behind this...

She can pretend to be "for the war", and behind the troops, while watching Cindy...smear and desecrate and insult the troops, and rev up the commie anti-war groups....which probably isn't making Kerry happy---

Kerry probably wishes HE could have done this himself!

Welcome to Free Republic...and welcome to America.

We are just people that want to keep America what it was when we grew up and what you most likely came here FOR.

Her senators are Feinstein and Boxer....don't know her representative...but for some reason, she has decided to go seek "redress" from Tom Delay, whose district is very definitely in TEXAS!

BTW, Al Sharpton and his driver got stopped by the Texas Highway Patrol going 110 MPH heading from Crawford to D/FW! They impounded the car, and Sharpton and driver said they would walk, rather than have the HP take them somewhere!

That is absolutely priceless!! I hope they walked. LOL Can we get another big round of "Don't Mess with Texas?"

I was furious when I heard that. It makes me sick and it should make the rest of the country sick. The only good thing is that she keeps digging herself a big old hole that even Fenton communications can't get her out of. I have tried to maintain some sense of decency due to her losing her son - but this is beyond the pale. THAT needs to be on a billboard!
