Maybe you should do an Internet search for info on the U.S. Congress' reaction to the Red Cross' dishonest fundraising tactics after 9/11. There are plenty of relief organizations which manage to raise money honestly. The Red Cross isn't one of them.

The Red Cross puts money into a fund. This is a disaster fund. The money can be used for ANY disaster. Unfortunately when people gave after 9/11 they didn't know that. People wanted their money to go to those people. In the end that is what the Red Cross had to do. Millions of dollars remain in that fund. The Red Cross now makes sure that people know that when they give to a disaster that the money can be used for ALL disasters (unless you specifially direct the money towards something).

The President of the Red Cross also resigned over it. What more do you want? Nobody stole money. The Red Cross wanted to use the money for future disasters as well as 9/11. There was nothing wrong with that.

No money was stolen or anything else.
