Anybody hear anything about Grande Isle?
I heard only 3 things: that the 7 people who chose to weather it out were missing. That at 3:30, the water was almost as high at City Hall as it was during Betsy, and the storm hadn't come in yet, and that Local station in NOLA just said a report said Grand Isle is nearly completely destroyed.
That's what I recall from Shep this afternoon... massive flooding down there.
No recent news.
Regarding Grande Isle:
I also heard about the 7 people who weathered it out. None of them were accounted for. In that small report I heard Grande Isle has effectively cut in two.
