Regarding Grande Isle:
I also heard about the 7 people who weathered it out. None of them were accounted for. In that small report I heard Grande Isle has effectively cut in two.
I was wondering about if that happened to the Island. That's exactly what the weather person thought might hapen. Wow.
Not ever having been in Louisiana, I just looked at the map to see where Grande Isle was located. All I can say, were those people insane? You couldn't get more exposed. The only thing worse would be to go out for a swim to meet the storm.
