I haven't heard anything about the areas south of New Orleans. Is that mostly swampland or towns?

There are river communities and suburbs immediately across the river from NOLA that are protected by levees. Had damage and flooding, but I haven't heard of the massive flooding there that NOLA had. But then significant hard news seems to be slow in trickling out.
