Did some freeper just say they raised gas twenty cents in the last two hour? I mean down South in Katrina country. That's crazy!
Oil patch country in SE NM -- someone's been reading the loss or refining capacity, hopefully very temporary, and already raised prices. I figured this was going to happen and filled up last evening.
last night someone posted that the immediate delivery of gas was up 20 cents in trading...
Service station owners must pay for the gas they're now selling. With the real possibility of increased costs to them for their next load, they must make money now to pay for it when it is delivered to them. That's the explanation I got from an owner.
