I saw 9-10 feet on 90, 16-17 feet at Ocean Springs and then everything went quiet until recently, with a civilian claiming 20 feet but describing more like 15 at Gulfport.
Even if NO dodged a bullet, which we won't know till Lake P. is back to normal levels, that doesn't mean the bullet evaporated.
Heard that the worst threat of overtopping from the north should be over within an hour or so. Still a danger from the west for longer, because of the wind shifting from that way, the theory of lots of Lake P water being pushed SW and S into the spillway, and the west side levee being the lowest at 10'.
Hopefully it won't overtop.
